THE HISTORY
2017 – The Foundation
La Fruta Food Industries was founded by a team of food industry experts with over 15 years of experience in managing and distributing food ingredients across Malaysia.
During this year, the company has made a strong commitment to Research & Development activities, establishing an in-house R&D team and fostering close collaboration with prominent Malaysian public and private food research institutions.
2019 – Expansion & Product Innovation
We also expanded to retail chains and hypermarkets nationwide.
This year, we have launched, Food Service Packaging: Tailored solutions for bakeries and dessert chefs, targetting Malaysia’s booming HORECA (hotel/restaurant/cafe) and confectionery sectors.
The first unit of Fruttose was sold in April 2019.
We achieved HALAL certification (JAKIM) ensuring compliance with global Halal standards.
2020 – Expansion & Product Innovation
This year marked our leap into Retail Packaging (Filling & Topping) and Industrial PP Bucket Packaging (Topping)
The distribution network was expanded nationwide, with a specific focus on Bake Ingredient Retail Shops.
2021- Branding, Marketing & Research and Development
We shifted focus to branding, marketing, and R&D, introducing new flavors while adhering to strict food safety standards.
Global Reach: Initiated export operations to the Singapore, Brunei, and other counties. We earned MESTI certification for international compliance.
Innovation: Developed customizable fruit fillings for diverse culinary applications.

2022-2025 – ASEAN Growth & Quality Assurance
Exported to other countries within the ASEAN region.
