SUMMER BERRY TRIFLE

Layers of summer perfection with luscious berries with fluffy custard

Fruttose Mixed Berry Filling & Topping 60%

INGREDIENTS

  • ¾ cup Fruttose Mixed Berry Filling & Topping
  • 2 cups of fresh berries (strawberry, raspberry, blueberry)
  • 1½ cups heavy whipping cream, cold
  • Cream cheese
  • 1¾ cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pack crisp lady fingers
  • Fresh mint spring, for garnish (optional)

METHOD

  1. Set aside some berries for trifle topping.

  2. Microwave Fruttose Mixed Berry Filling & Topping for 1 minute until hot. Toss with fresh berries. Let it sit while you prepare the rest, stirring occasionally.

  3. Whip heavy cream to stiff peaks in a bowl. Set aside.

  4. Beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and a third of whipped cream. Fold in the rest.

  5. Layer ladyfingers, Fruttose Mixed Berry Filling & Topping mix, and cream in a trifle dish. End with cream cheese on top.

  6. Garnish with fresh berries and mint (if desired).

  7. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours before serving
